Dalmor - The Isle of Lewis - The Outer Hebrides - Western Isles - Beaches
Dalmor - a lovely beach in The Western Isles - white sands that stretch 200 metres across the bay. At the back of the beach are rocky cliffs that extend seawards to form a pronounced headland. A local cemetery sits above the beach ( In the Hebrides - a cemetery seems often to be placed at the top - overlooking the sea). The sea here - can have quite a strong current and surfers are told to beware. Dalmor lies not far from Carloway in The Isle of Lewis. Dalmor is a lovely Hebridean beach
