Hebridean Sheep
The hebridean sheep - a breed of small black sheep with black wool - fading to brown in the sun. They are considerably smaller than other breeds of sheep .Hebridean's are hardy and able to thrive on rough grazing. The faces and legs are completely black, and both sexes can have two or four horns .Hebridean sheep thrive well - in fact their grazing is actually of a benefit to the environment - the dunes and the famous machair, heath and moorland
