The Butt of of Lewis - The Outer Hebrides - Western Isles - Photos.
The most northerly point of THe Isle of Lewis, there is a lovely lighthouse - which is the most Northerly lighthouse in the Western Isles. The Butt of Lewis is known as the windiest place in the UK - however we have been there on lovely sunny days when the wind really is just a slight 'breeze' - watching the seals - and the birds. Shags, gulls, gannets diving. With its grassy banks and spectacular cliffs it is a place not to be missed.
