Reef Beach - Isle of Lewis - Western Isles - Outer Hebrides - Traigh na Beirghe Riof or Reef Beach - Traigh na Berie - is a lovely long sweeping white sandy beach. The sandy beach has many different varieties of shells. This part of the Isle of Lewis has in the summer a glorious display of machair - ( a carpet of different coloured wildflowers) along with many orchids. Along with the lovely cliffs - the machair and the long silky sanded Reef beach - it's a part of THe WEstern Isles you simply cannot miss.
