Stornoway is a beautiful town with a picturesque harbour and a stunning castle which has acres of grounds which have lovely walks and beautiful plants and gardens.

Stornoway
Stornoway is a lovely peacful town. It is the capital of The Isle of Lewis. It boasts a lovely harbour, full of baots of every type, both working and leisure boats. There is a lovely view across the water of the Lews Castle which is being restored and is to be both a hotel and a cultural centre and will house the Stornoway museum, along with of course some of he famour Lewis Chessmen. Stornoway also sees its share of Western Isles Wildlife, common seals grace the harbour and an abundance of wild birds, like the sstunning Grey Herons that roost in the trees near the harbour.
