Flodobay - (Gaelic - Fleiodeabhagh - Isle of Harris Photos)

Part of the pretty rocky east coast of South Harris in the Outer Hebrides, Flodabay - ( Gaelic - Fleoideabhagh ) lies at the head of Loch Flodabay, to the west of Manish. It is about 4 and a half miles northeast of Rodel. Seals lovely wildflowers and a beautiful jetty make this one of the prettiest bays in Harris

Flodobay - Harris
This lovely bay has a fantastic viewing point for watching seals and even otters if you are lucky - just straight from the jetty - Western Isles wildlife!

The way the light casts it's shadows on the lovely bay, lighting up the surrounding yellowy moorland means that you cant help but get lovely photos.



Rodel - Isle of Harris
The village of Rodel, Isle of Harris. At one time the main town of Harris was Rodel - the ferry for Skye used to depart from Rodel - however in more recent times it is Tarbert that is the main town and port. Rodel harbour is a peaceful tranquil harbour.Many divers view Rodel as a perfect diving destination in Scotland.....
