Bridge to Nowhere - Garry - Isle of Lewis - Western Isles
The Bridge to Nowhere, was another of Lord Leverhulmes failed plans. The intention was to build a road after the Bridge to lead from Garry to Ness. Lord Leverhulme was trying to make better the transport around THe Isle of Lewis and Harris.

Isle of Lewis - History - The Bridge to Nowhere
The intentions of Lord Leverhulme were to improve the roads and transport throughout The isle of Lewis and Harris, The Bridge was built and a road was meant to have been built to lead from Garry to Ness, however the crofters and the men of The Islands didn't seem to agree at all with the way he was going about it and the plans fell through.
