One of the traditions the "Guga Hunting" which is carried out by the men of Ness situated at the most Northerly point of the Tip of The Isle of Lewis. The gannets are really powerful birds that you often see diving for fish here in The Western Isles

The men of Ness, Isle of Lewis keep up a tradition they have followed for hundreds of years, the men catch for food the gannets young which are called "guga", the men have become nicknamed "guga hunters" of the Western Isles
