When the sun sets or at sunrise - looking across to Loch Erisort - or indeed the village of Balallan - it is a wonderful sight. You also find that the when the village and the Loch is shrouded in early morning mists - the spectacle created is truly amazing. The moorland and countryside around Balallan is just stunning along with the vista of the Clisham and the Harris Hills in the distance.
