The village of Balallan is three and a half miles long, with beautiful lochs, moorland and rolling hills, views of the Clisham and an interesting history including The Pairc Deer Raid, for which there is a monument at Balallan - it is really pretty.

This lovely peaceful village half way between Harris & Lewis is amazingly pretty. There is lots of wildlife to be seen, red deer, golden eagles - white tailed eagles, wheatears, pipits,cuckoos,great wildflowers - orchids, water lilies, heather
and best of all the lovely lochs and views of the hills, especially The Clisham
