Bosta - Great Bernera - Isle of Lewis - Western Isles Photos

Bosta - at the far end of Bernera - Western Isles is a lovely beach. The crushed shell white glistening beach is stunning. A Time and Tide bell is mounted on a skerry and when the tide rises the bell rings with a range of tones. The Bosta Beach has links to the Iron Age - an Iron Age village having been discovered in recent years and indeed there is a Replica Iron Age house that has been created behind the beach.
